Production Manager

The ideal experienced candidate will be organized, oversee and work alongside with existing shop staff in the manufacturing of custom cabinetry and millwork. Responsible for streamlining all production and the consistent quality of output. Providing journeyman level experience of cabinet making and deep know-how in production procedures. Effectively direct personnel towards the successful completion of projects with keen attention to detail. Strategize with other internal teams to ensure operational excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities
Daily scheduling of shop employees
Organize workflow to meet specifications and deadlines
Maintain a positive attitude and high level of quality control on a daily basis
Assess necessary resources (workforce, raw materials, etc)
Work alongside existing shop staff to manufacture specialty items (ie. angled, radiused, custom pieces)
Maintain and enforce health precautions
Ensure shop cleanliness and safety
Machinery maintenance and repair, purchasing of equipment, etc.

Qualifications

Experience supervising a production/manufacturing team
Deep knowledge of custom cabinetry, both residential and commercial
Thorough knowledge of production scheduling and shop operations
Experience working with Cabnetware and Cabinet Vision
Organized, self-motivated and the ability to work with the team and independently
Manage multiple tasks and priorities and easily adapt to changing situations
Knowledge of performance evaluations and budgeting concepts

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand all day
Ability to infrequently lift up to 50 pounds, bend, twist, squat, kneel and lift (both lateral and overhead)
Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
Read, interpret and understand equipment manuals and blueprints
Effectively provide and receive communication

Custom Cabinet Maker

We are seeking a skilled Custom Cabinet Maker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in all phases of cabinetry and millwork. Proficient with hand tools, power tools and reading/understanding shop drawings/blueprints.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Read and interpret shop drawings and blueprints for cabinet design, Cabnetware and Cabinet Vision.
  • Process wood parts for assembly by measuring, cutting, sanding and shaping according to specifications.
  • Utilize hand tools for the assembly of cabinets and fixtures.
  • Install components in wood cabinets according to instructions.
  • Install hardware on cabinets as instructed.
  • Collaborate with team members for successful quality completion of projects.
  • Ensure quality craftsmanship in all cabinet making tasks.
  • Clean and maintain work areas in accordance with safety standards
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of cabinetry and woodworking experience required.
  • Proficiency in all phases of cabinetry and millwork.
  • Proficient with power tools (ie: table saws, drill press, etc.), setup and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols.
